example fails to mention that the DoJ is going after personal
information from elected representative from another country
who is not under criminal investigation. This attack on online
privacy has been a cause for the IPU (international
parliamentary union) to pass a highly critical resolution
addressing why this is a dangerous trend.
it is really time to demand better protections for online
privacy. I know many of the social media companies want to be
able to protect their users from governmental probing, but they
need to do more. But we who use the internet also need to do
more in order to demand more rights to our sacred personal
content. I urge you to go to http://eff.org and participate in
their quest to fight for your rights."
